The Pikes Peak Arts Council has conferred upon her its annual Performance Poet and Page Poet awards two years consecutively. In 2016 she won the Mark Fischer prize, out of Telluride, Colorado, and she publishes often in literary magazines. She currently serves as president of Poetry West in Colorado Springs and describes herself as a nihilist/absurdist/synesthete of the best and worst and whatsitmatteranyway sorts. She is way weirder than her stuff and hopes for soonish congruence.

Andrew Topel - Eight visual poems

(Andrew is on the left, just in case)

Andrew Topel became involved with visual poetry around 2002.  while studying fine arts in college, he began taking creative writing courses as well and greatly enjoyed the experience. Coming to love both writing and art, he began to wed the two related practices to create visual poetry.  he currently resides in florida and is editing the forthcoming anthology RENEGADE.

Diane Keys - Six visual pieces

Diane Keys' work explores the relationship between the tyranny of ageing and emotional memories.
With influences as diverse as Caravaggio and Andy Warhol, new synergies are crafted from both explicit and implicit layers.
Ever since I was a teenager I have been fascinated by the traditional understanding of relationships. What starts out as triumph soon becomes corrupted into a cacophony of power, leaving only a sense of decadence and the possibility of a new understanding.
As momentary forms become frozen through studious and personal practice, the viewer is left with a tribute to the possibilities of our existence.
